It's shocking to see how many students these days have totally zero school pride. They don't feel about their community, they don't get involved in events, and they just seem apathetic. It's like they've forgotten what it means to be part of a group and believe in their fellow students. This lack of spirit is detrimental to the entire school atmosphere.

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! It's giving me to adjust it, but it still feels awkward. Maybe my head is too big. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes match your needs.

Not My Alma Mater
When I read the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't bring back feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a distant concept. Maybe because my time there were so different, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reflect. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't carry the same weight for me as it does for others.
It's not that I dislike my time at school. It was a period of growth, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.
Perhaps it's because I discovered my passions more info outside the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are defined by different experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

The world doesn't understand that I ooze a different shade. They glare with disgust as I display the reality of my being. My blood is a symbol of {somethingelse that they can't imagine. They classify me as abnormal, but I am simply special.
School Spirit? Never Heard Of Her
Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing a ridiculous costume and chanting slogans. I value knowledge, not glorified cheering.
- My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. Their enthusiasm is contagious.

Craving That Deliciousness
Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me chips and dip any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
